It’s a big big shame that TDB ‘Open Mike’ can’t be as responsive as that of TS – really, a big shame, but one I understand given the resources -including the fact that TS is supported by a slightly left-leaning IT expert and legend in his own mind and long-suffering partner, and one whose philanthropy substantially supports all the ‘costs’ involved (both economic, and emotional in the domestic environment’ – fuck me – I should have used the word ‘space’ in there somewhere – but not doubt there’ll be a tunety in the not too distant, going forward).
The worst part is that there is no opportunity to operate some sort of live debate, the better part is that moderation is more sensible and the quite obvious trolls are registered (except of course for the thumbs up/down bullshit that I’m assuming allows those on duty to satisfy themselves they’re of some sort of ‘value’ – problem is, for the passer by, that might very well be so)
