Why Stuart Nash’s comments won’t hurt NZF + Labour need a better response to Paul Henry than po faced humourlessness

If you listen to the NZ First Conference, the biggest cheers were for anti-vaxx and anti-Trans comments.
Look at this photo…

…some of the most toxic right wing Trolls in the game.
NZF are currently polling 11.5, I think they will come in at 10% after the specials are counted because they have peaked.
The venom of your average NZF supporter now is very unhinged and radioactive on culture war stuff.
It is driving more voters away than they are winning.
Trashy Nashy’s comments will only take some of the foam off NZF’s top because the vast rump of NZF are now radicalised and quite extremist.
It is only a matter of time before any of their other hyper aggressive candidates make another stupid comment, this guy is surely a prime candidate…

…TDB will release a list of NZF Candidates you should try and goad this election on Monday.
As for Labour’s attempt to conflate Paul Henry’s comments on Radio Hauraki radio to a death threat is a sad reminder that Labour’s po-faced humourlessness routine won’t work with Paul Henry…
Health spokeswoman Dr Ayesha Verrall was speaking on Newstalk ZB’s Wellington Mornings with Nick Mills when she said Henry’s comments were “absolutely disgusting”.
She called the interaction an “inappropriate game” and wanted to call out Henry for saying he’d shoot Hipkins.
“We can’t just let death threats go in our political conversation. There are nutters out there who feed off these sort of things, and one day we can be in the situation which the UK is in where Members of Parliament lose their lives. We have to have standards in how we talk about this.”
National MP Tim Costley, appearing alongside Verrall, said it was up to Act leader David Seymour to decide whether Henry’s comments amounted to a sackable offence.
“I would never expect to see that. I can imagine if that was a National Party MP, the Prime Minister would have some words,” Costley said.
Verrall interjected to say: “Tim, it’s a death threat. Just condemn it.”
…Fragile snowflake brittleness with a side order of Offended Karen is so 2016.
Clearly Henry wasn’t making a serious death threat to the Leader of the Labour Party when he elected Chippy to shoot in a marry, shag or shoot game involving Chippy, Luxon and Winston.
What Chippy should have said is, “Thank God I got shot and didn’t have to marry or shag Paul Henry”.
THAT would have been funny, clever and shown Labour can roll with the punches and turn the joke back on Paul Henry.
What did Labour do? Whine, complain and play outrage Olympics which just looks weak.
The question was asked by Jeremy Bloody Wells for Christ’s sake!
The sunken cheeked private boy rich kid who is the co-host of the dumbest current affairs show in NZ.
Is Labour seriously suggesting Jeremy Wells is part of a death threat to the Labour leader?
Get off the grass.
The Nashy’s kicking of working Mums won’t hurt NZF vote because they are so extremist many support Trad Wifes and Labour need a better response to Paul Henry than po faced humourlessness.
