    1. There’s no reason to pay most ‘subscription’ controlled media sources. Just use archive.is to get past the paywall on any article you want to read.

  2. I hope those 30 best are not in any particular order. But at least what it does show is that there is hope.

    I’m constantly having to remind myself that sometimes, complete bloody wankers can (and are) sometimes good journalists. And then, there are also ‘nice’ people in with the in crowd that aren’t averse to a bit of plagiarism at times.

  4. I thought the baddies were in the first five…then I saw the bunch at the end…made me scratch my head, why are they in the thirty…yes, not the easiest lay out to recognize here.

    I do highly recommend Consortium News for sure.

  5. Great expose of the media picture and demise. Thanks for the odd new ‘source’ to seek. Substacks etc. are great, but even though they are cheaper and better than newspapers the cost mounts up a bit.
