  1. I feel that in some form of Silent Protest against this ‘Demand’ from the Irrational Tama Potaka that MSD staff enmasse grant Emergency Housing to those seeking assistance.

Neither this government nor MSD would want to Fire Enmasse a huge number of staff that are working With Their Conscience and not the demands of a government that is Out of Touch with Reality especially with an election only 4 months and not so many days away.

But also there does look like this season is resulting in National, ACT and NZ First resorting to Beneficiary Bashing Hunting Season.

Now maybe Tama Potaka wants to Emulate Luxon even down to ‘hair-style’ but he obviously doesn’t quite get to know what is happening here in NZ and the real world.

Not everyone is Wealthy and Sorted and maybe that Token Maori called Potaka is only there in National to give an illusion that National are “Thinking in Equality”. But it’s probably more likely Equality of those with Wealth rather than Equality for those across the wide dimension of HUMANITY.

Lets face it but National, ACT and NZ First do not possess any ounce of Moral Fibre/Credibility, Accountability, Responsibility, HUMANITY but probably proclaim to possess these attributes when there are Votes Required.

Tama Potaka is as Spineless as his leader Luxon. And his statements even on yesterdays’ Q&A come across as nothing Short of a Childish Attempt at Upmanship with an air of Arrogant Superiority Complex. Much the such symptoms as Luxon.

  2. If you make it impossible to access emergency housing, then those in need are off the books. They’re no longer an embarrassing statistic, and you can just shrug like Tama Potaka, claim you don’t specifically know what happened to them, but you’re pretty sure they’ve all magically found safe, warm, affordable homes to live in.

National don’t hate the poor. Hate requires some form of emotional investment. National just don’t give a single fuck about them. They’re an annoying statistical blemish to be erased on the road to giving your donors the preferential treatment they’ve paid for.

    1. Agree. The Poor are probably like those Pot-holes Simeon Brown ‘promised to eliminate’.

That is throw the poor into a hole. Pour tar over them and hope they disappear so no-one eg a tourist on a cruise ship sees them but walks over them as if they just do not matter.

That is walk over the poor and discard them because it’s Their Fault they are Poor whereas one time Luxon proclaimed anyone could become as Wealthy and Sorted as he is.

The problem with Pot-Holes along the Road of Life is often they become larger over time because of lack of attention given to the fact things do happen and discarding, throwing them aside and then Blaming Others is Not the Way to go.
