Pauline Hanson says she has ‘ability’ to be Australia PM after shock poll
Pauline Hanson says she has the ability to lead Australia as prime minister but admits she was shocked by a poll that suggested One Nation had pulled ahead of Labor.
A Redbridge Group and Accent Research poll published in the Australian Financial Review shows primary support for One Nation at 31 per cent, compared to Labor on 28 per cent and 20 per cent for the Coalition.
The poll surveyed just over 1000 people and has a margin of error of give or take 3.4 per cent.
The One Nation leader said this was a result she had been “working towards” for her entire political career.
“But it’s not for me personally, I want to change for the country. I want people to feel that they’ve, you know, got some hope for the future,” she told ABC Radio Brisbane.
“At the moment, I’m head of the party. I’m leader of the party. Would I be able to do the job? I believe that I could. I do believe I have the ability, but it’s another year and a half outside of an election.”

Turns out policing pronouns, micro aggressions and Identity Politics isn’t enough to win an election.
The fascist right are on the rise and they are using immigration as a friction point.
Which is ridiculous.
It’s not the migrants fault that NZ is too cheap to properly fund physical and social infrastructure by taxing the rich.
Migrant workers are being exploited by the same free market capitalism that exploits domestic workers.
The solution is not scapegoating migrant workers, the solution is solidarity. Universal Unionism for every migrant worker would ensure the wages didn’t undercut domestic workers and that they have the same conditions.
That way when domestic workers see migrant workers, they know they aren’t being undercut on wages and conditions which is the very friction that the Right exploit and manipulate!
The woke cancel culture social media Lynch mobs embarked upon by our middle class identity politic activists drove many men out of the Left and into the arms of the reactionary right.
The collision of middle class identity politics driven by the outrage olympics of call out culture alongside the economic dismantling of wealth for the many to the few sparked a resentment fed by culture war garbage.
The Right are feeding on the economic anxiety by selling the contempt of woke elites.
The solution is not woke dogma policing, it is universal services funded by taxing the rich.
The Left can not win a culture war, we can only build properly funded public services that fundamentally reshape the rigged casino of free market capitalism it currently serves while making a meaningful difference in people’s cost of living.
Why did Trump win?
He exploited the United States of Wounded Masculinity with a message of resentment to a nation of fatherless sons. The working poor who are so vulnerable economically turned to the Democrats and found a Party more focused on policing pronouns and promoting identity than their economic pain.
Why is Farage winning?
He is playing to the same white grievance culture spread on social media and openly playing to straight out brown shirt fascism.
Middle class identity politic activists have the luxury of playing hashtag outrage games on BlueSky. The working classes do not.
The greatest danger of identity politics is that men drape themselves in the same grievance culture and start lashing out as a group.
I think Identity Politics is an important personal journey of how you personally interact with power, but if all you have when you get to the table of revolution is a tribal affiliation to your skin colour, genitalia or orientation, then what use are you to the revolution Comrade?
You don’t want heteronormative cis males, you want citizens and individuals that understand they are all part of the same economic class.
The Right are manipulating the polarisation of social media hate algorithms and the most unhinged of our Volk are itching to get crazier and more abusive.
The intense male loneliness epidemic connected to an economic downturn that burns them is driving dangerous tides.
The Left needs to show how universal services funded by the mega wealthy will make a meaningful impact on the lives of those voters.
it’s not the “woke” who are the problem, it’s traditional left parties who have walked away from the working class and embraced the middle class who are comfortable with neoliberal economics, or if you like Social policy wet, economic policy dry. And every time people like you wank on about boomers, millenials etc. instead of class you drive the wedge deeper
The Right are on the rise – everywhere – at the same time as goverment increasingly fails its people – everywhere – too. Fortunately for Govt, the Right do not challenge Govt authority so Govt are at the very least, lenient towards them, relative to anyone that dares challenge specific Govt policies like War, Israel, Covid, Climate, Tax and Govt spending, just to name a few.
The political system is broken and the Left needs to understand this. The Left needs to unite, just like the Right do, and pressure this broken political system from the outside and not from within. Work within it and it will swallow you up and spit you out in some cases. The system is broken, the rise of the Right reflects this sad reality.

The migrant workers undercut kiwi workers.
The migrant bosses exploit migrants worse than kiwi bosses and the migrant bosses wont employ original kiwis.
Migration, whats in it for kiwi workers? If Labour dont want migration as a right wing wedge they need to say its being cut right back due to unemployment, cost of living, housing, climate environmental crisis. Theres no evidence migration is helping kiwi workers with any of this stuff (unless they own a house in a rising market and its not a rising market).
On houses ,more migrant workers are buying houses than kiwis because they now have the jobs and more kiwis are being made redundant .Just look at the interveiws on the news sites in the media .How many of those folk are born right here in NZ .It is not their fault that they are exploited by employers ,including the government .However they should not allow themselves to be exploited .Luxon says we dont have any forced or slave labour in NZ ,what a fucken lie .All those RSE WORKERS ARE SLAVES ,BECAUSE THEY WORK FOR FUCK ALL AT THE END OF THE WEEK .
