Gaza‘s growing death, injury and sickness

In Gaza during the past 24 hours (as above) 2 more Palestinians have been killed and 17 wounded.

The total numbers of killed and wounded in Gaza by Israel since 7 October 2023 are: killed 72,267 and wounded 171,976.

Since the start of the Gaza ‘ceasefire’ the Israeli Occupation has killed 793 Palestinians and injured 1,832.

The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza since 7 October 2023 is at least 80 and, that of those injured, is more than 191.

The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza since the ceasefire is at least 4 and, that of those injured, 11.

West Bank

Since 24:00 on 7 October 2023, Israeli Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure on the West Bank, preventing residents, as well as other permit-holders, from entering or leaving.The Israeli military also imposes severe, and highly variable, travel restrictions on all residents.

UN and NGOs urge the Israeli authorities to stop forced evictions in East Jerusalem

Statement by the Humanitarian Country Team of the Occupied Palestinian Territory

East Jerusalem, 26 March 2026

Over the past week, Israeli authorities have evicted 15 households from their homes in Batn Al Hawa area of Silwan, East Jerusalem, forcibly displacing dozens of children and adults, and handing over the properties to settlers. These developments mark a dangerous escalation in unlawful forced evictions, which are part of a broader pattern of forcible transfer across the West Bank. These evictions deepen humanitarian needs, undermine livelihoods, and threaten the fabric of Palestinian communities under occupation.

Over 200 Palestinian households in East Jerusalem – roughly 900 people – face eviction cases filed against them in the Israeli courts, mostly by settlers. They are all at risk of forced displacement.

Settlements and the forcible transfer of protected persons in occupied territories are strictly prohibited under international humanitarian law.

We urge the Israeli authorities to stop evictions. They must cease and reverse settlement expansion and uphold international humanitarian law. Evicted families must be allowed to return and must be provided with full remedies.

We urge Member States to take stronger, consistent steps to prevent further forced displacement, including through diplomatic engagement and increased field presence. They must support the protection of Palestinian rights, including for housing, land and property.

Joint Israeli Army and settler attack – 1 killed and 8 wounded: Hebron – 17:30, armed Occupation settlers, as well a Israeli troops, pursued and opened fire on motor vehicles in the Umm al-Khair area of ​​Masafer Yatta, killing one person, Yusra Majed Musa Abu Qubaita, and wounding eight others.
