  1. Ever notice how life goes on regardless…
NZ hasn’t sunk into the ground because Winston is running the show. The MSM will have some nice pictures to print. The sun is out, and a fluffy kitten just walked by.
It’s hard tackling the ‘ hard stuff so let’s just ignore it.

  2. Congratulations and best wishes to the new Ardern-Gayford family.

Jacinda, Clarke and baby girl are representatives of a progressive 21 century family. Gender equality at its best.

  3. Congrats to all three. Let’s hope baby jives a happy, fulfilling, long life. And yes, let the gender-activists take a bit of a holiday on this one. If baby is as tough as her mum, she’ll make her own way in the world.

  4. Barry Soper calls Mike Hosking “a miserable old bugger” over at that old rag the Herald this morning. Hosking thinks the media has been, is and will be paying far too much attention to the PM having a baby.

Thats my laugh for the day.

    1. Yeah Kat ,noticed not one article by Hosking over the media’s fawning of Max Key or his sister. Hosking is so rightwing nutjob predictable.

      1. Bert, if you had Mike Hosking’s hair you might be a bit bitter and twisted too. One day he may wake up and realise that he’s just a hearth brush. That’s all. Sad.

As long as that dear little baby isn’t named anything with an “e” on the end, she should be safe from the worst of the Herald.

  5. A true family of the 21st century! Free of patriarchal societal norms. Ah, but to hell with all that. Welcome to the baby and all the best to mum, dad, and family. May this child grow up in a country finally free of poverty where every child will grow up safe, warm, well fed and clothed, good education, and good future ahead of them.

  6. Unwed, working mum, stay at Home Dad, given birth to a girl. Think you might find it’s a quaddie.
