As America marks 250 years since breaking away from monarchy, the irony is hard to ignore — critics say Donald Trump’s leadership is dragging it back toward something resembling one.

Doesn’t it say something about the State of America that Donald Trump has corroded that it requires their previous King to come back 250 years later and remind them what the values of Anglo-Saxon Democratic Western Values are again.

The rights of the individual, an independent judiciary, separation of powers, Free speech, all things that Trump has trashed.
