Iran war fuel crisis: the dates Trump and Luxon fear most

As tensions escalate around the Strait of Hormuz, the Iran war fuel crisis New Zealand is no longer theoretical — with diesel supply risks and global market instability threatening real economic consequences.
A geopolitical crisis spiralling beyond control
Trump thrashing around trying to manipulate the oil markets while he builds up an over-the-top military response as soon as Wall Street closes on Friday is like some apocalyptic Reality TV show.
It’s as bad as watching Luxon go into his dead eyed CEO KPI routine in an effort to keep voters calm even though he knows we are in real danger…

Why diesel is the real economic fault line
…petrol and jet fuel aren’t the issue, it’s Diesel, the machinery that keeps society moving runs on Diesel, without it enormous parts of the economy shut down and that generates a massive inflation tsunami and unemployment spike.
The dates that matter for Trump and Luxon
The hope is Trump will somehow disentangle himself from the greatest geopolitical blunder since Vietnam.
The date Luxon fears is the day NZ runs out of diesel and that date is based on when the Straits reopens.
If Iran refuse to reopen, NZ runs out of diesel and deep damage occurs.
The date Trump fears is the date Israel and America runs out of interceptor missiles. Each passing day sees Iran’s strategy of using up Israeli and American missile stockpile is building in the coming month.
It is in Iran’s interests right now to let this crisis last six months before they negotiate because the global economy will be on its knees from fuel shutdown and inflation.
A six-month war scenario with global consequences
The Revolutionary Guard have said they can fight an asymmetric war for six months!
If you think things are bad now, imagine it in six months!
There will be massive unrest throughout the world as workers impacted directly take to the streets.
Israel and America will have run out of interceptors and Iranian drones will be causing enormous damage.
Economies will face massive price distortions and markets will spin into a doom loop.
Escalation, retaliation and long-term instability
None of this should surprise anyone!
The Iranians had one red line, don’t kill our holy man.
Israel and America did that in their opening move.
They killed an old Ayatollah who was near death and replaced him with a much more hard line and younger Ayatollah who will rule for decades, and Israel and America killed that new Ayatollah’s brother-in-law, wife, son and dad.
I’m no PhD student in Psychology, but me thinks he may carry some sort of grudge and desire for revenge.
It is in Iran’s interests for a six month conflict, that’s when their negotiating power will be at its greatest.
Trump has failed utterly to comprehend the enormity of this foolish and illegal war.
He’s declared victory seven times now, each time defeat gets closer.
Luxon better come up with something better than he’s doing.
The Iran war fuel crisis New Zealand exposes a brutal reality — when global conflict disrupts supply chains, it is not abstract geopolitics but everyday economic survival that is on the line, and leadership is measured by how prepared a country is before the crisis truly hits.

Answer to the last sentence of this highly realistic assessment….He won’t!
They, The Coalition of the Hopeless, are done with their response.
And Seymore, whose laughable imitiation of a possum in the headlights, along with Luxon and Willis looking like they’ve seen a ghost, is on record, saying a couple of days ago, that the stories of hardship are …”just anecdotes”….nothing to see here…move along now…
The Coalition of Poor Economic Managers have already borrowed and then spent the kitty by giving millions to ‘The Ben and Jerry’s Icecream’ class, the tobacco companies and real estate people who, in turn, blew it on trips to The Gold Coast, Rarotonga or Fiji .
No imagination… no critical thinking… no social conscience….room for dancing upstairs…equals…no rainy day money….plus gst = no response…
We are sleep walking our way to chaos. Lets trust Luxon/Willis shall we. After all those eligible families will soon be able to apply for their $50.What a pathetic response so far. Meanwhile, for some reason while petrol has increased in price by around 40% in the last 28 days, diesel has almost doubled.
