What every single mainstream media pundit seems to have missed in the Boomer vs Gen X vs Millennial debate
To ignore neoliberalism when trying to understand the generational differences is like trying to see a rainbow in only black and white.

IT’S DIFFICULT TO AVOID THE IMPRESSION that the neoliberal establishment is very pissed-off with Bill English. His handling of the NZ Superannuation issue has been an unmitigated disaster from beginning to end. The media wasn’t briefed. National’s surrogates in academia and the business community weren’t primed. The public was not prepared.
The thing that is most concerning about all this abuse using tasers is that the rules on taser use are incredibly clear, a Police Officer can only use a taser if a person has a weapon on them and are threatening use of it against the Police or other people.

On Monday night, clad in a traditional Palestinian dress, which was presented to her by a Palestinian woman, Green MP Marama Davidson addressed a packed audience at Workers’ Educational Association in Christchurch.
Even National’s $25 per week benefit increase last year pales into insignificance with the news that reductions in the real value of Working for Families payments since National took office have taken a cumulative $2 billion from the homes of families on low incomes.
