Another assult on brown people .Pretending to be aimed at the Indian population but is aimed at Pacific people who have several generations here who have been slaves for the elite and part of the engine room of the economy for years .Happy for them to stay and be slaves ,why not give them automatic citizenship when they enroll to vote .
Doesnt this just mean the permanent residents would have to give up their pommy, yankie, aussie, desi, middle kingdom passports and go all in on being kiwi citizens? Lock their future with NZs future, no plan b.
