There are no ‘green shoots’.
The price of fuel coming back down again…but still being a dollar a litre more than it was 5 months ago ..before the Iran war started…is not a ‘green shoot’ as some bank economists would try and have people believe.
Record dairy prices is not a ‘green shoot’. It is just a symptom of a cyclical market.
Near record unemployment is not a ‘green shoot’……5.6 % under the National lead Coalition+200,000 exited to Australia and the U.K in just 2years….3.6% when Labour left office.
600,000 people using foodbanks is not a ‘green shoot’.
You can see the desperation every day whereby Luxon is trying to talk the economy up and trying to make out that they are masters of the economy. ….nothing …but nothing…could be further from the truth.
He accuses Labour of it, but actually, it is he who is the one who represents the real example of spend, borrow, and hope….and is fooling no one but the rabbit-hole dwelling sycophants….he’s a study in delusional.
What planet do certain economists and commentators out there live on?????…it sure as hell isn’t planet reality.
Correct Grant. It is not a win if fuel returns to the levels of pre Iran war. That’s simply stupid and “Green shoots” is simply National attempting to fudge numbers and saying they are responsible. What they are responsible for is the last 3 years and everyone and their dog with half a brain know National have taken us backwards on every metric.
