  4. You have to have some sympathy for Zalenski.
    Having been talked out of a peace deal with Russia a few weeks into the invasion by the leaders of Britain and the US, and committing his country to a horrible war that has devastated the country and led to the deaths of over a million young men and women, He is now faced with a complete reversal of the position of the main director of his actions. He is required to agree that it has all bee for nothing, and the loss is to be not only the war the territory and the courageous soldiers but the countries future sources of wealth and income.
    How else could he have behaved?
