ZB must be forced to put out a statement that they do not endorse the climate denial lies of Leighton Smith because while it is up to them to decide who uses their platform, but it is not up to them to decide their own facts on something as huge as global warming.

Jacinda’s critics view politics through the old Baby Boomer frame of winners and losers and as such their commentary is jaded and a judgement of insecurity rather than political  insight.

…I had figuratively compared what was going on to the Salam Witch trials of the late 1600s because that was the last time we allowed allegation to be the evidential threshold, but it’s actually literal here when you consider the role of a person who claims to have magical powers in being the accuser.

For some this is the “I TOLD YOU SO” moment, the point where they are proven right that their inane bullshit claims a year ago that the PM couldn’t be pregnant and run the country has finally come home to roost.

These same pundits who are decrying Jacinda based on an allegation would have also had Awanui Black hung drawn and quartered using the same logic.
