Beyond the rushed judgements and our need to see the worst in the other, we have a cultural landscape lacking in basic kindness and dignity. In the hyper critical environment of social media where hot takes and lack of all facts leaves us with little more to go on than ill judged opinions and easy anger, we are becoming nothing more than a baying lynch mob.
I was personally pretty cynical towards the Gillette advert and wrote it off as corporate woke wash, but watching in disbelief at Roastbusters wanting to launch a music career this week forces me to put that cynicism aside and acknowledge the deep need for the message Gillette is pushing.
Some senior PSA staff are as undeservedly self important as your average Wellington mummy blogger, creating scab unions is a tactic that will blowback on them.

That means anyone with a criminal conviction won’t be allowed to benefit from a legal cannabis market.
