Winston’s Māori Electorate lies are already falling to pieces

Winston’s argument for desecrating the Māori Electorates is already falling to pieces.

He claims the Māori roll has been dropping, this is simply a lie – it has increased by over 16 000 since the last election and in fact the majority of Māori are on the Māori Roll as opposed to the General Roll.

Asking the majority to decide the rights of the minority is the worst abuse of power. Winston’s shtick for the last 40 years has been the Māori who kicks other Māori and the angry whites love him for it.

He is gleefully playing to the worst angels of our nature and that should be condemned not celebrated.

Whatever you think of the Māori Party MPs and their behaviour, mutilating the NZ Democratic landscape to attract redneck crackers is Old Zealand, not New Zealand.
