“There are huge signs that are visible both from the sea, so that if you’re in a boat you can see the big yellow triangles on either end of the shore of the marine reserve section.”

Fpr pete’s sake – tell them on Facebook or somewhere where people who don’t really want to know anything definitely, gather.

Set up movement broadcasts so when someone goes to the area a prissy mother’s voice perhaps father’s (who might be listened to with some respect not given to females) says ‘You shouldn’t do that it’s destroying the paua beds which are declining and we are trying to conserve and increase them instead and if you take them they can’t breed and that’s no fun for them is it and all our resources are under threat of extinction even you’ and then it repeats this in a loop until people say ‘F.. I’m out of here’ I can’t take this.

(I introduced a bit of sex and humour so that it might find a way into the mind of the everyday punter, we all respond to that don’t we. Don’t we?)
