I’ve been following the IPCC reports since they first came out and the thing that is most striking throughout those decades is how the worst case scenario is quickly becoming the only scenario.
The feedback loops like methane release from permafrost, the shutting down of the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation and the most recent heatwaves aren’t even included which means we are in a far worse danger than even this terrible report suggests.
This is why the Labour/Green plan to be carbon neutral in 29years is a fucking joke.
The planet burns and what are we busy doing legislatively? Criminalizing parents for stopping puberty blockers.

- Sustainable immigration and an end to exploitative migrant workers.
- Resettlement Programms for all pacific island neighbours.
- Increase refugee in take to 10000 per year
- Fully funded public services.
- Mass Green housing rebuild.
- 100% renewable energy for entire country.
- Massive tree planting across previous farming land.
- Wholesale re-write of state services act to end commercial values.
- Investment into basic pharmaceutical production.
- Financial transaction tax

- Multinational tax
- Inheritance tax

I disagree. The evidence indicates we have 2 years (at the most) to adapt, i.e. abandon the destructive, counterproductive, rotten-to-the-core, money-lender-controlled and corporation-controlled system; the energy required to make the transition is declining by the minute; the magnitude of the environmental catastrophe is increasing by the minute; the value of fiat currencies is declining (being devalued) by the minute.
The people at the ‘feed-the-people’ meeting in this room still have little idea how bad it is going to get and how quickly thi is all going to escalate.
Meanwhile, the professional liar who is the MP for this electorate is firmly locked into denial of reality.

We are toast! Northern hemisphere summer monthly avg temps are already equaling 1.5C. Unless something radically is done very soon many of the tipping points we are beginning to trigger now will go into full throttle. Huge Siberian fires and temps in the 80s and 90s (27-32 C) are destabilizing methane hydrates in the ESAS and a blue ocean event is imminent. Large amounts of soot are also being deposited on the Greenland ice sheet which will reduce albedo for many years. These soot deposits have been shown to produce melt ponds and moulins contributing to ice sheet melt. We are screwed.
