The difference between ACT and NZ First voters matters because Labour still has to answer the same ugly question every election cycle: how far are you prepared to go to keep Winston Peters out? With former All Black captain Taine Randell now standing for New Zealand First in Tukituki, that question just got a fresh jolt of relevance.
As we face the most consequential election of our entire generation, there is a very clear difference between ACT and NZ First voters.
The difference between an ACT supporter and NZ First supporter is that ACT will justify burning books if you own the book as a property right whereas NZ First supporters will burn books out of the total glee of seeing librarians cry and art that makes them feel small burn.

Labour can’t have anything to do with NZ First, they are a toxic hate cult, not a political party and their venal acquiescence to their donors makes them poison.

So disappointing to see Taine Randell standing for NZF in the upcoming election. Surely he has made a grave mistake!
