In Gaza, during the past 24 hours (as above), 2 more Palestinians have been killed and another 11 wounded during Israeli air strikes and gunfire.
The total numbers of killed and wounded in Gaza, by Israel, since 7 October 2023 are now: killed 72,587 and wounded 172,381.
Since the start of the Gaza ‘ceasefire’ the Israeli Occupation has killed 912 Palestinians and injured 2,220.
The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza since 7 October 2023 is at least 77 and, that of those injured, is more than 185.
The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza since the ceasefire is at least 4 and, that of those injured, 11.
West Bank
Since 24:00 on 7 October 2023, Israeli Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure on the West Bank, preventing residents, as well as other permit-holders, from entering or leaving.The Israeli military also imposes severe, and highly variable, travel restrictions on all residents.
Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded: Jerusalem – morning, Israeli forces, at the Annexation Wall near Al-Ram, opened fire on and wounded a man trying to get to work in Jerusalem. The wounded man was hospitalised.
Israeli settler attack: Ramallah – 14:35, armed Occupation settlers, shooting indiscriminately, cut off branches from a number of trees and stoned homes, on the outskirts of Umm Safa village.
Israeli Army attack and home invasion – 2 wounded: Nablus – 01:25, Israeli forces raided the village of Duma, opening fire inside a house and wounding a resident, Basem Dawabsheh, and his wife, Hammam. Both were hospitalised.
Home invasions and forced personal demolition: Jerusalem – the Israeli Occupation forced a resident, Waseem Lotfi Siam, and his mother, to destroy the apartment building in Silwan which housed both their homes – or otherwise be forced to pay an extortionate sum to the Israeli Occupation demolition squads, who would be sent in to do it.
Raids and home invasions: Tulkarem – the Israeli Army continued its incursions into the city as well as the Nur Shams refugee camp, occupying apartment buildings and homes, for use as military outposts.
Israeli Army assault with stun grenades and tear gas: Jerusalem – evening, Israeli Occupation forces fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters at Beit Iksa village residents trying to defend themselves from raiding settlers as they were working their land.
Israeli Army robbery: Nablus – 12:35, Israeli forces, at the Al-Muraba’a checkpoint, near the entrance to Tel village, seized a vehicle belonging to a Urif villager: Issa Abdul Rahim Shehadeh.
Occupation armed settler terrorism: Jerusalem – 10:40, an armed settler, hanging around the Girls’ Secondary School in Mikhmas village, also held up an electricity company vehicle and its crew. Israeli Occupation forces released the crew and removed the settler from the area.
Occupation settler terrorism and Israeli Army complicity: Jerusalem – evening, Israeli Occupation settlers invaded Beit Iksa village agricultural land and assaulted a working farmer, Abdul Karim Hamayel, while Israeli troops, firing stun grenades and tear gas canisters, supported the settlers.
Occupation settler population–control: Jerusalem – evening, Israeli settlers prevented Palestinian vehicles from passing through the Mikhmas village roundabout.
Occupation settler olive tree sabotage: Ramallah – evening, Israelis, from the Adi Ad Occupation settlement outpost, cut down and uprooted around 400 productive olive trees on Turmusaya agricultural land.
Occupation settler stoning: Qalqiliya – 23:00-01:00, Israelis, from the Kedumim Occupation settlement, stoned passing vehicles at the nearby roundabout.
Occupation settler stoning: Qalqiliya – 00:15-01:30, Israelis, from the Jit village Occupation settlement, stoned vehicles and obstructed the passage of an ambulance at the nearby the roundabout.
Occupation settler terrorism and population–control: Nablus – 12:35, Occupation settlers stoned a home on the outskirts of Qusra, terrorising the family inside and cutting-off their electricity supply.
Occupation settler olive tree sabotage: Nablus – 14:00, Israeli settlers felled approximately 40 Luban al-Sharqiya village’s olive trees.
Occupation settler stoning: Nablus – 17:55, Israeli Occupation settlers stoned an agricultural building in the Jabal Qamas area, between Beita and Osirin.
Occupation settler agricultural sabotage: Salfit – 08:30, Israeli settlers released their livestock onto agricultural land, near the village of Farkha.
Occupation settler pastoral sabotage: Salfit – 18:15, Israeli settler militants invaded Kafr Al-Dik land and vandalised a sheep-pen.
Occupation settler intrusion: Jericho – 15:50, an armed Israeli settler positioned himself near a polling station, on the outskirts of the village of Ein Al-Duyuk al-Fuqa, but was successfully resisted and forced away by residents.
