Gareth’s message will not resonate well with most New Zealanders, who are trapped in the net of neoliberalism and consumerism, and are firmly held there by the mainstream media.
I agree and feel that Gareth is so immersed in the Treaty that he can not see that many of us will never consider it our founding document. We deserve a constitution that represents all of us. I would not vote for Gareth.
He and many remain in denial about our history and the lies and cover-ups around it. The Crown and our govt. and many maori’s have intentionally kept the truths from us about the fact that the maori’s were not the first peoples here.
