That’s what Bernie Sanders in the States has been successful in highlighting is a major power imbalance when it comes to Republicans and the once former mighty workers party the Democratic party who have sold out to corporate interests to promote their agenda by accepting huge amounts of money to write policy for corporate interests.
Only left wing parties who reach out with a grassroots campaign and only accept funds from people in the community can run with a real left wing agenda and polices that address the need of the many who are now economically and socially exempt from the neoliberal economy.

I know a wealthy family and their solution to any situation that arises is to throw money the way of lawyers or other dodgy people and make the situation go away .The kid is not doing well at school because the parent fails to take interest because any out of school things encroach on their social life .So of to St Pauls he goes next year where his school lunch is $3000 a year because she does not want to make his lunch .
