Rubio doubtful of diplomacy with Cuba as Trump raises new threat of military action
President Donald Trump and America’s top diplomat on Thursday again raised the specter of U.S. military intervention in Cuba, a renewed threat that takes on greater weight a day after the administration announced criminal charges against the island’s former leader, Raúl Castro.
Trump said previous U.S. presidents have considered intervening in Cuba for decades but that “it looks like I’ll be the one that does it.”

I argued that Trump didn’t care about democracy and that his intention throughout this entire year was some vision he’s been sold of hitting Venezuela, Iran and Cuba one after another so he could return in time for the Soccer World Cup as the all conquering Caesar with Pax Americana celebrated just before the Midterms.
He seems to be veering towards a ‘2 out of 3 ain’t bad’ end game by suddenly ramping up military threats to Cuba.
No amount of starting new wars to gloss over the damage the last one has caused will help deal with the economic realities of the Strait still closed.
The question then becomes, how many conflicts does Trump need to embark upon to shift focus away from the Epstein Files?
For those aghast at how incompetent Trump truly is, remember he still has total hold of the Republican Party via MAGA. The recent primaries where Trump attacked Republicans he deemed disloyal and won has flushed away any suggestions that he doesn’t command fear and loathing over the wider unhinged Right.

We, us, et al, must come to understand that if we’re to survive we must survive together. All together. If we think we can relinquish responcibility to one, or two if we’re unlucky, individuals then we’re deluding ourselves. And I can understand that thinking, but that thinking’s wrong.
We must all function as one. If we don’t, there are forces who will find cracks in the systems we must have to function then those forces will exploit the cracks and fuck us for their gratifications.
I’m a sheep man/person. I like sheep. Sheep, are awesome. They’re smelly and they shit where they eat but then, don’t we all.
Sheep do one thing well that we don’t. They herd together when they’re threatened.
They’ll form a group then the strongest will take up strategic positions on either side of the herd then run like fuck when the sheep shit hits the fan. They, will be hunted down then killed then devoured while the rest run off so in effect they, the self-sacrificed will themselves die for the survival of the herd.
I remember the rhetoric from cold war USSR , all American imperialism , American Imperialism and thinking what a load of shit . Fast forward and how very right they were .
