  1. How about somebody put the hard word on Helen to come back and lead Labour to a win

  2. Luxon is an embarrassment. Talk like you support a rules based order but then support an illegal war. The Iran war is a total disaster. You would have to think Trump is trying to look like a total f wit. He’s succeeding

    1. Look at Bob celebrating the war crimes that will cost this country dearly.

Why don’t you fuck off to the States you treacherous piece of shit?

You obviously don’t give a shit about this country Bob, so pull your neck in.

Or, given the allegations that you’re a Johnny Foreigner, why don’t you assimilate to Kiwi culture and stop wanking off over war crimes.

And if you can’t assimilate to New Zealand and instead wait to change it into whatever shithole you crawled out of, then you can fuck off to wherever you came from.

How does it feel to have your talking points levelled against you?

        1. To be fair to Bob the first though, he’s like a condom with a hole in it, fucking useless and therefore there are no more Bob’s in the bloodline.

  3. Luxies just hanging out for his visa renewal so he can get a big name plate job back in the US selling pop tarts or something.

  4. Winston right now looks like he has steered a middle foreign affairs course. If Winston did become PM, does anyone think that if push came to shove, he wouldn’t flip like Trump and become a War PM like his namesake?

  5. “What was Luxon thinking?” I’m confident that it had more than a little to do with the Trump administration’s and Hegseth’s in particular description of this war as a “holy war” and somehow linked to the evangelicals’ belief in the end times, the rapture and all that. If that had nothing to do with it, then Luxon is demonstrating again how out of his depth he is.

  6. Why is it National’s position ALWAYS to to support the US. No independent stance. NEVER it appears. You name it theyr’e there with their hand up. Simply the way the right lean? Or something more sinister?

  7. Luxon clearly hasn’t got a clue! He’s bereft of sensible or even new ideas so just goes with the flow! How he has lasted this long is an absolute mystery, but so long as he believes he is a wonderful PM he is a menace to us all and our country. To even consider militarily backing Trump is a total delusion. This dangerous CoC needs to be prevented from making any more changes to Bills/Policies and Winston seems to grasp this, except if they adversely affect our Maori! Of course Winston is setting himself up to be PM; it’s the last item on his bucket list. Scary times are coming, so a snap election would not be stupid. Time for a significant change but NOT Winston. The Left must clinically and passionately step up or we are doomed!!!!

  8. The whole Coalition of Chaos was a sham from the start…a mish mash of over blown egos that, scratch beneath the surface, all hate each other, but overridden by a desperation for a sniff of power at any cost.

The ‘cost’ coming in the form of the parlous state that N.Z. is now in …the economy driven off a cliff 2 years ago ….benefits going to landlords, real estate people and cigarette companies…you know…the really important people.

A decrepit past its used by date Cooke Strait ferry service with 5 week booking delays for vehicles…and no new ones in sight for another 4 years…

An unemployment rate going through the roof and a mass exodus of skilled young people to Australia to the tune of one leaving every 7.5 minutes.

An eruption and fracturing of race relations not seen before and a wilful attempt to have the children of this country not eating, and therefore not learning properly and as well as they could/should be.

Willis, once again trying to run defence and gaslight the country telling shock jock Mike Hosking this morning that they are “doing a great job” and “there’s nothing to worry about.”

When you are that deluded…there is no hope.

  9. Helen Clark,Phil Geoff jump out of the woodwork claiming a break down of the coalition but this will blow over as both Luxon and Peters know an early election is not in their favor.

    1. It’s in Winstons. He’s such a weasel he’ll try framing causing a snap election as statesmanship: “we are facing the worst energy crisis our nation has ever experienced, this coming crisis requires a government with a new three year mandate to deal with, we need an election now, we can’t afford six months of petty tribalism”

He’s polling extremely high for NZF and with the energy crisis and war and economic conditions only set to get worse his polling may go down with the government he’s associated with if the govt continues.

A snap election may help him get more seats but it’d end the govt, the public wouldn’t reelect a three way coalition that can’t work together in a crisis to deal with the same crisis.

However, Winston loves being in the cross benches, he works best as an opposition leader and he wouldn’t care if labour gets in, as long as he’s sucking up National and Acts votes, all good, he can frame himself as “the true opposition to labour” while also occasionally helping labour pass bills the Greens won’t, like he did throughout the fifth labour govt and claiming “pragmatism”

Don’t underestimate his self interest and this govt is a sinking ship, he’ll be asking himself pull the plug now with high polling before the shit hits the fan or do I try bleed national dry for six months, what gets me more seats.

    2. And like all right wing supporters when their party or Government fails place your head in the sand with your arse up. And whilst your down there look for blame to the left. What a f****** joke you are Trevor

    3. Pretty much Trevor, I predict a solid coaltion until election day, despite the hyperbole and hysterics of the post.

  10. ” showing Luxon wanted to shift the Government’s position to show “explicit public support” for the US-led war in Iran days after it broke out ”

Reminds me of Brash in 2005 promising the Bush administration that our nuclear free policy would be ” gone by lunchtime ” then unwisely tried to deny it and made it a campaign issue regarding our then independent foreign policy that Helen used against the National party relentlessly.

    What explicit public support ?

If there were any doubts how unfit this guy is to be PM then this is a perfect example.
