  1. So Auckland Councils AT team bails to go work for a multinational company and takes with them the city’s transport, roading and infrastructure portfolio.

Basically scoring a job by stealing the intel and most likely contracts and relationship(s) with the government agencies. To make a killing on policy advise, design, contracts and logistics and legal advise.

Meanwhile ratepayers will get stung with a higher rates bill to pay for all this excess.

    A. Berwick has left the building.

  2. Tane the Man!
What a piece of work is the Auckland Councils AT Team! However the giant genie that runs NZ with green octopus tendrils and squirts of inky poison is the guide for this Auckland group of machiavelliants! along the similar path to that of Lake Alice.* We are now learning through a legal hearing what what was done tiver decades to the vulnerable naive children there, deliberately – not by error or misunderstanding. It is a pretty foul comparison I know, abused children in a mental home with an over-riding professional who knows no boundaries of correct behaviour, but I feel that we in NZ have been stripped of our legal protections and are bereft of any controlling power in the same way and just as helpless it seems.

Or has someone got a plan for breaking away from this callous kafkaesque parallel universe. Lake Alice
went on for 50 odd years, In a far shorter time we will be far into climate change affects and already have bad conditions worsening with politicians unable to cope setting up quasi government groups supposedly better able to do the job . They seem to have little respect for their employer the goverrnment and some consider it a bounden duty to rort government, really the people.

This week an 89-year-old man stood in the dock accused of crimes committed against children at the Lake Alice adolescent unit in the 1970s. But those in authority have known of those crimes for nearly 50 years. In part one of a two-part series, AARON SMALE relays the experiences of Lake Alice survivors and asks why has it taken so long for accountability.

  3. This from dear old relative. I think you forecast this from Winnie with this line Martyn, or some other prescient person.

CO-GOVERNANCE MUST BE STOPPED NOW – NOT 2026

The insidious creep of the racist, separatist, secretive co-governance agenda must be stopped now – we simply cannot wait for a referendum in four years’ time.

The only future for New Zealand is one of unity, one law for all, under one flag. Any dilution or delay of that fundamental democratic foundation will be disastrous for our nation.

We do not need to have a referendum to tell us we live in a race-based separatist society, any more than we need to check the weather forecast when it’s already raining.

All of a sudden, we now have those who were once an integral part of the problem now posing as part of the solution.

There must be no underestimating the importance of stopping the underhanded, destructive, and divisive move towards co-governance in our country being pushed by the Māori elite and their fellow cultural travellers.
We cannot afford to wait for a referendum in 2026.
The only real referendum on this decisive issue will be kiwis voting next year at the 2023 election – any alternative will be far too little, far too late.
    Winston Peters
    New Zealand First Leader

It’s time for New Zealand First to bring back the balance, commonsense and experience that is seriously lacking in Parliament today. Will you help us?

I wish we had some icons of funny faces etc or- the above needs a decoration, perhaps an apple in the mouth?
