What can we do about these faith-based communities mucking up our systems for controlling the virus? I like the Christianity that praises God for giving us so many talents and skills, and prays that we can use them well, to the best of our abilities, rather than praying for God to save the faithful as one devotee said ‘I’m washed in the blood of Christ” – all the others can go to hell apparently. That doesn’t seem to have been Jesus’ approach at all and I don’t have faith in these renegade religions that are arising with gusto all over the place. Send gusto back where it came from I say.
In the meantime can we sue the church for the extra costs that they incur for all of us, or will government just withdraw their tax-free status which they received on the basis of the good works and ‘moral’ teachings that they say they impart. It’s been traditional that churches don’t pay tax. Traditions are being attacked and destroyed, I think taxing churches @ say GST would be a very taxing question, but time it got asked – we Joe and Jo Public are being rorted.

I reported Level 4 breaches when that was in force, nothing happened. NZ is a laughing stock and the government not honest about what goes on.
