Look, we all want a prison riot, but just because your weird cult programme isn’t adopted doesn’t seem like a good enough reason…

Brian Tamaki ‘irresponsible to try and incite violence’ over prison programme – Ardern

Jacinda Ardern says it was “irresponsible to try and incite violence in the prison system because you’re not getting your way”, after Destiny Church’s Brian Tamaki tweeted the Man Up programme would visit inmates “and cause inmate revolts in every prison”.

…so Brian hasn’t ever applied for funding his programme in Prisons, insults the PM and the Corrections Minister for not giving him funding (despite not applying) and is now promising a prison riot because he’s not getting any funding (despite not applying).

Brian gets that receiving money from Government requires actually applying for it right? This isn’t like God where you pray for it, con a bunch of followers into giving you their money and then buy a gold watch, motor bike and a mansion with that money while claiming it’s God’s providence.

In the wake of Destiny Church cult members protesting outside the Christchurch Mosque  in a ‘my-God-can-beat-your-God-up‘ pissing contest, Brian ain’t getting jack shit out of this Government.

Insulting them in public and threatening violence suggests that Brian needs to be on a Government watchlist, not a recipient of state funding.

Look, I’m no theologian, but Jesus seemed like a pretty reasonable chap who would sit down for a cup of wine with some fishes and loaves and chat regarding any request of his. Throwing tantrums because no one wants your Man Up programme that you haven’t actually applied for seems like faith based logic.

In that it doesn’t exist.

Brian, why don’t you just ask God to smite the entire Government and replace them with you as Prime Minister? I mean you are on talking terms with your vengeful angry God right? Tell him Jacinda and Clarke are living in sin and the Holy Ghost with a big flaming sword will do the rest.

If you can’t convince God to reign judgement down, then perhaps you need to bugger off and join the Exclusive Brethren?

PS – Jesus wouldn’t have ridden Harley Davidson, he would have used an electric bike.

  1. For the “Life of Brian,” Brian. Fuck off fool! Yah spunk’d yah load now buddy! I’m guessing the Popo are looking had at you and the ‘Profile’ criterion of what constitutes a ‘Gang’ by there legal definition. I reckon you’re in the ‘Zone’.

  2. ”Brian, why don’t you just ask God to smite the entire Government and replace them with you as Prime Minister?”

It is my understanding that Brian is, and has been working on that for some time. Seriously.

  3. Lets remember that brian tamaki is no different to, say, don brash, roger douglas, dick prebble etc. His agenda is the same as theirs was, and is. To make money. tamaki is about money. And money affords him the power is psychiatric illness dictates he must have and in my view, that’s all tied to his tiny little diddle. ( Probably literally!) His gimmicky leathers and bling is as the result of expensive marketing advice. The words he uses are straight out of the dictionary of logical fallacies and with those words, he will capitalise on the dysfunction created by his earlier crusaders now dug in to our economy known to most as neoliberalism. He belongs to the cult. The money cult.
One can get a better view of the likes of tamaki by looking at the earth through the rings of Saturn. A tiny, pale blue dot. That’s our home. And idiots like tamaki are the unwelcome guests but because they’re relatives we must put up with the bastards.
The very worst thing to do is to take him seriously. In my opinion anyway.

  4. When Brian Tamati takes over New Zealand he will sack the Govt, eradicate all other churches and open Prison doors to all prisoners who commit themselves to his Covernant Oath and become one of his “sons” but they will have to pay money to him regularly as demanded. Women need not apply.
Nor any from the LBGT as they are condemned to eternal wrath.

Leadership lessons can be taken from Brian and coaching for any aspiring narcissistic megalomaniac who is deranged enough to seek complete power over NZ then perhaps the world.

And he will have Cult PR expertise from Pentecostal USA to help capture the public’s minds. Power indeed.

  5. I’ve not been that happy with folk mocking Simon Bridge’s speech and referring to him as, “Soiman”. But I am going to go lower – God forgive me – and say that part of Brian’s problem is that he looks like a big roll of blubber – it’s not fat – weight-endowed men can look good – its the blubbery stuff, he looks like the school yard bully from a Boys’ Own Annual.

Herein lies part of his problem. He can throw his weight around with his followers and god-clobber them, but after blowing it by threatening the NZ Government with prison riots, he then backtracks like a bungy saying that he didn’t really mean it. Wow. What a man.

He’s looking angry – not nice to see. Why hasn’t he done one of his own anger management courses?

PS Brian could go and fast in the desert like Jesus, Augustine of Hippo, and Paula B.

  6. brian tamaki can be one big headache especially when he starts preaching but if he can help and he can make a difference because nothing else has been working who cares about what he says. We all have a tendency to say stupid things when we are angry and frustrated and not being listened to. I think if he can prove his violence course works we should give him and his programme a chance and stop bickering its not helping those that need help.

    • Because it’s taxpayers’ money he’d be using,he has to go through the same legal channels as anyone else…but he doesn’t seem to understand that-via his narcissistic self regard-(where have we heard this before?)-even if his process would work-and anything called “man up” is problematical at the outset-he needs to go through the same channels as everybody else, and given his previous unhinged behaviour, even that would not give him any advantages…

  8. country boy tamaki is no different from all the other religious zealots many of the churches ask for and receive money. Countries like america are full of evangelist all putting their hands out to their followers, tamaki is no different from them but for some reason a lot of people here in NZ seem to have it in for him. Yes he says some stupid JUDGEMENTAL things mostly the same type of stuff folau has been saying but we need to remember he is pastor whether we like him or not he may have something to offer.

  9. If this were a proper blog there would be copious post pointing out that Brian’s spiel was a false flag verbal from a deep state agent in order to distract from airhead’s decision to bail out her rich mates by putting the kybosh on capital gains tax, inflation adjusted pay rises and affordable accommodation for all kiwis.

Yet even though that has been the net effect, everyone prefers to imagine that the PM who spends more time working out how to get another Vogue cover and posing with Monsieur Evil in front of the ruins of Notre Dame than concerning herself with the lives of kiwi strugglers is just plain lucky.

    • Conjecture, Debs. Nasty vacuous conjecture, Debs. Except for the last sentence Debs, which is barely comprehensible, Debs.

But please, please Debs, do not feel tempted to explain yourself.

This reads like the Daily Mail’s royals goss. But thanks anyway, Debs, I’m sure you did your best.
