Having just watched the debate, Bernie won. He made mistakes, but he won.
Clinton was given much more time, and she hung herself with that extra rope.
Why I think she lost.
1. She was quite contemptuous of middle class voters.
2. She spoke down to young voters.
3. The sour looks
4. Speaking over Bernie, and talking was past moderation
5. Not answering questions, made worse when Bernie answered them
6. Lying on her stance about the minimum wage, she told the same lie twice, then contradicted herself. It was nasty, and bad, the Moderator went straight to a break, after the crowd booed her.
7. On the Middle East she look like a war monger, who was not willing to listen or talk to people. Again, the rope thing here sunk her, she just went back to weak talking points.
8. Obama, she tried to ride Obama’s popularity within the democratic party. It felt like the a desperate blow-hard up on stage.
9. And when she was truly fantastic, and I’d recommend anyone look at it, she was amazing. When the gloves came off and Clinton had a go at the republicans for restricting women rights to chose, and states rolling back women’s rights – she was just wonderful. But, It begged the question about her passion about other issues. Because, apart from that issue, she came across as a robot.
Not Fun watching, glad I has house work and washing to do.
