I’m not sure if Israel loves torturing Palestinian, Drs or Drs who are Palestinians.
Either way, I’m not even sure what Dr Abu Safiya is supposed to have done.
He was detained by Israeli forces on 27 December 2024, when the facility was the last functioning hospital in northern Gaza.
Israel claims he’s a Hamas terrorist, but Israel claim infants and children are Hamas terrorists so I’m not sure that is much of a claim.

Because they know we will collectively do nothing to stop it, Dr Safiya’s slow death and torture in Israeli custody is being paraded before us, making us all collectively guilty with them, in Dr Safiya’s murder, and the murder of hundreds of other Palestinian Drs and nurses.
The slow murder of a Palestinian Dr is being live streamed, we sit back and watch. Never lifting a finger to stop it, threatens to make us all collectively guilty in Dr Abu Safiya’s torture and impending murder.
We should all be demanding, in whatever forum or platform we have, that our political leaders put maximum political pressure on the Israeli state and its representatives in this country, to release Dr Abu Safiya.
If we don’t question our political leaders silent complicity in Dr Abu Safiya’s torture and murder, then we are just as complicit as they are.
