  1. Voters might choose this path. But political parties won’t encourage it. Although Te Pati Maori might given it is the electorate vote that most matters to them. From what I can see, Labour wants to win back at least some of the Māori seats. And Te Tai Tokerau has to be a compete toss up with 4 serious candidates.

  2. Firstly ; What ‘Left’ ? There is no Left left. Roger saw to that, and writing of roger douglas, has he been arrested yet?
Secondly; Roy morgan’s as trustworthy as wasps in your underwear.
Thirdly; A public, royal commission of inquiry up and into all those who favoured the logical fallacy that’s MMP over our tried and true First Past The Post system. MMP was introduced in lock step with the introduction of the disease called neoliberalism and neoliberalism hasn’t gone away so let’s make it go away then make voting compulsory.
But of course before any of the above can happen we’ll be sold to the IDF.
    FYI suckers.
Neoliberalism in New Zealand emerged dramatically in 1984 under the Fourth Labour Government. *Facing a severe financial crisis, Finance Minister Roger Douglas rapidly dismantled the country’s historic welfare state. This era of sweeping, radical market reforms is widely known as “Rogernomics”.
    * ” Facing a severe financial crisis” Bullshit. Look it up. We were facing a severe public sector cash surplus so roger and his cronies hatched a plan to remove public sector money to then place it in the pockets of privateers.
What were once 14 multi-billionaires, 3118 multi-millionaires each with a net figure of $50 million and four Kiwi owned banksters being the second most profitable in the world, second only to Canada, are now worth more than doubled their historic net profit/wealth and our main banks are now australian owned and australia is our fiercest agrarian primary industry exports competitors.
    AI sez
“New Zealand’s major banks reported record-breaking and highly profitable results for the 2025 financial year, with combined total profits across the sector nearing $7.2 billion. ”
So… people living in dire poverty in the streets? What’s that about?
I can tell you. It’s because our banksters and our Post Farm Gate reps are crooked, our politicians are all bought and paid for and you and you and me are too gutless to get rowdy.
