Sir Keir Starmer announces resignation as UK Prime Minister
Sir Keir Starmer has announced his resignation as UK Prime Minister in an emotional speech outside No 10.
Staff gathered and several ministers were present as a lectern was placed on Downing Street ahead of his statement on Monday morning (local time).
Starmer started by saying he inherited a Labour Party that was “politically, financially and morally bankrupt”.
“I was told time and time again that my party was finished. That we were consigned to history. That a majority at the general election – let alone a landslide majority – was impossible,” he told the crowd.
“But we proved those people wrong. Because we changed our party.”

I always detested Starmer.
The manner in which he manufactured smears of antisemitism against Jeremy Corbyn and any Labour activist critical of Israel was always a nasty vicious and totally needless purge of Labour that actually ended up fuelling Green Party membership as Labour activists fled Starmer’s Zionist Apologist Labour Right.
His insipid capitulation to use British Intelligence to help Israel’s war crimes, defend Israel’s war crimes and arrest anyone connected to Palestine Action mark him as a deeply repressive Leader who enabled British Authoritarianism while allowing British Fascism to breed.
His reverting of UK Labour to the kind of incrementalism that has plagued the NZ Labour Party has allowed underfunded public services to collapse and that in turn has generated immigration friction that Nigel Farage and Tommy Robinson have manipulated into political venom.
Starmer was the problem, he was never the solution.
His lack of warmth and charm was who he really was and his handling of Peter Mandelson’s appointment was a comedy of farcical errors.
Andy Burnham is the same safe Labour Lite thing as Starmer, but slightly warmed up. The only silver lining in him becoming PM will be the fact his win in the Makerfield by-election shows Labour can beat the fascist Farage Party.

Starmer is a really nasty piece of work. While head of the Crown Prosecution Service, he oversaw the absolutely vile decision to not charge the notorious pedophile for his rapes of hundreds of innocent children. All files regarding those decisions were ordered destroyed. Blood on his hands.

Hipkins, like Starmer, made excuses for the Gaza Holocaust. Starmer went a little further, saying that starving Palestinians was 100% legitimate. Hipkins, on the other hand, lied and said that there was no evidence of genocide, and that those WITHIN HIS OWN PARTY like Damien O’Connor who called out the genocide were hysterical. Disturbing.
Of course, Starmer is now to be replaced by the similarly evil Andy Burnham. While not- as Starmer was- married to an ‘israeli’ dual citizen- Burnham is a longterm member of the so-called ‘Labour Friends of Israel’, a genocidal terrorist group within the UK Labour party.
Perhaps Chris Hipkins should look at what is happening in UK and also new York, might learn something, people want more than the centre

Before Corbyn’s rise to the leadership and bring the Labour party back to what it traditionally stood for before like the NZLP was hijacked and taken over by neoliberalisim is where the UK Labour party was and now is again after two years of his leadership and their retreat back to rampant capitalism that will now never solve the existing crisis.
It took Corbyn to drive the largest membership increase to Labour in 50 years.
Starmer drove him out and the British people have never forgiven him.
Starmer has done his share of the damage and like the previous PM’s over the last twenty years he will retire in disgrace with no legacy except to once again destroy the Labour party all over again.
