FreeSpeech Debate 7pm Thursday 2nd July

Brothers and Sisters.
On July 2nd, which is Thursday next week – the Kieth Locke Memorial debate is happening 7pm at Auckland University Law school, moderated by Professor Jane Kelsey.
This years moot is Hate Speech Laws threaten Free Speech.
The negative Team will be captained by Listener Columnist Simon Wilson with Anjum Rahman and Yasmine Serhan
And the Affirmative team will be captained by myself, Stuff columnist Verity Johnston and civil rights lawyer Thomas Beagle.
Finally, a free speech debate that doesn’t include those arseholes from the Free Speech Union

Hate speech is censorship in sheep’s clothing, as is the social media ban. With the world purposely being torn apart, the need for greater censorship is a top priority for the corrupted political class that rules the West, if not the entire world.
