MEDIAWATCH: Sean Plunket fanned the Shane Jones attack on Sam Neill but is criticising ME for not weeping over a war monger?

Friend of Sam Neill says abuse the actor experienced due to mining opposition ‘took its toll on him’
New Zealand director Roger Donaldson says Sam Neill couldn’t believe the public abuse he experienced in response to his opposition to a controversial gold mine in Central Otago, adding that it “took its toll on him”.
Neill, who died on Monday, was a long-term environmentalist and an outspoken critic of plans by Santana Minerals to build an open-cast minemere kilometres from his home.
The Australian company has been pushing to build a 95-hectare mine in the Dunstan Mountains, despite local opposition, including from Neill.
The actor often posted on social media his views on the mine plans, so much so that at one point he was involved in a public exchange of words with Energy Minister Shane Jones.
Stuff
Sean Plunket helped fan the flames of Shane Jones attack on Sam Neill that saw Sam threatened and abused, and then that same Sean Plunket has the fucking audacity to bash me for not weeping over the death of a war monger like Lyndsey Graham!
Sean is desperately trying to deflect from the roll he played in attack Sam Neill by trying to point at my criticism of Lyndsey Graham!
Sean, the great free speech champion, is attacking my free speech!
This is the same Sean Plunket who attempted to claim images of starving Gazans were faked, has claimed Māui dolphins were “the Down syndrome kids of marine mammals” that “deserved to die”, has asked if anyone felt sorry for Harvey Weinstein and infamously claimed he was concerned about a mass outbreak of anorexia in Gaza.
Allowing Sean Plunket to pass judgment on standards is like having a panel of lepers judge a beauty contest.
If Sean doesn’t like what I’ve said about Lyndsey Graham after he died, Sean will spin in his grave with how I will describe him once he’s dead.
I think Sean is feeling left out that no one in ACT or NZF wanted him as a candidate.
Who is even listening to The Platform any more other than Chris Trotter and a bunch of bitter Culture War Boomers?
