I saw a forecast that by 2030 debt will be 230 billion .2023 DEBT was on the way down and now its more than double .On Q&A last week Willis was moaning that she has to pay 10 billion per year on the debt Labour left .So she wants us to believe we are paying 10% interest on less than 100 billion that was government debt at election time .Thats twice the interest people are paying on their home or business loans .She is clearly stupid if she thinks we will swallow that bull shit .The 10 billion is because she has now more than doubled debt to over 200 billion .
I must admit she can keep a good poker face while telling the same lie every day .She never even admits she is borrowing 180 million a week or day ,which ever it is .
It was a trainwreck of an interview for her on Q&A with Jack Tame…she regularly tied herself in knots.. gave ridiculous nonsensical answers abd the expression of lost bewilderment at the end of the interview told you all you neede to know.
I notice that TV One News buried the interview playing none of it at 6pm.
Clearly the government is targeting the wrong areas in their cuts.
All the public service cuts are outweighed by increasing NZ Superannuation and Health spending.
They cut the government’s income when they were elected to serve their donors. They then turned that into messaging blaming the last government, when no one ever had a gun to their head saying give me a tax cut. They could have said it was worse than they thought when taking over, and a tax cut would be irresponsible, but no they didn’t. It’s a mirror of what they are doing in healthcare. Under fund it and claim it’s not working and create the crisis. Consummate bullshit artists.
I just love how they are rolling out the projects they cut ,now it is election year and they dont have any new policy because they had none last election .
The so called new build Hospital at Whangarei is a prime example .It was due to start 2023 but was cut on election night .Now they make out it is their idea and can now magic up the money that was already allocated before the 2023 election .
Where are the FERRIES and Dunedin Hospital both of which would have been delivered by now .I saw them giving a big pat on the back to themselves at a new social housing development in Whangarei on the news last night .No mention of all the state houses they have sold up there in the last year for less than they were worth .Also no mention of the fact the development was started in 2022 so is nothing to do with the current government .
They also borrowed to boost Cancer stick companies profits…..any fool with half a brain… that is even slightly dialled in….knows that vapes are even worse for the throat than cigarettes …expect throat cancer rates to soar….clusterfuck
