  1. Broadly writing, good people are in a minority so in the absence of hope they fail to act. It’s that simple.
The masses who enable the likes of trump are by far the majority. It’s the dumbasses who breed and lay down the law are those who the Trumpets pitch to. Farming is a good example of the tyranny of terminal fools. The intelligent country kids go to university, move to the cities or go to other countries while the dullest stay at home, have at least two kids and vote for their abusers.
Trump’s smart enough to appeal to terminal fools which guarantees him a place in the beige house. Where tack meet tasteless. Where Boss Clowns think they’re in charge when in reality they’re being manipulated and exploited by shadowy monster lobbyists who were never voted in and can’t be voted out.
And that’s why our vote must be compulsory. Good people who can’t be bothered to vote are far more damaging, are far more dangerous by their lack of engagement . It should be remembered that good people who don’t vote don’t count. I mean, look at our ludicrous government? What a talentless, humourless, witless, colourless gang of tacky, suit wearing money fetishists. Of a quiet moment what must they think? What’s their interests in music, film, literature and the arts generally? Do they in fact think at all? Luxon’s photographed with his kids? Why? Were those photographs taken inside their home? I mean, really? While I’m no psychiatrist or psychologist I’m concerned. Mixed-Member Proportional Representation is a logical fallacy and needs to be de-established and the vote must then be made mandatory.
We need to empower good people. Urgently.
