An HBO documentary about former New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, has been named best documentary at the Documentary Emmy Awards.

Congratulations to my dear Comrade Clarke for winning an Emmy for his Jacinda documentary.
It is so important that Jacinda’s legacy is given the respect it is due overseas because at home the hard-right outrage merchants have to denigrate her memory because she had the temerity of putting public health above profit margins.
Her Government’s Covid response is estimated to have saved 20,000 lives, and no amount of revisionist rage changes that.
Why the backlash hasn’t gone away

History has a funny way of cutting through their noise.
While the outrage cycle churns on at home, the rest of the world has already made up its mind.

It certainly would have made for a different Documentary.
Winston did fail because we never had the public hanging his feral supporters wanted .
