Look, here’s the reality, it’s going to get way worse economically because the body blow to the NZ Economy that Nicky No-Boats caused last year by shutting down all the infrastructure pipeline of roads, hospitals, schools saw a massive loss of workers to Australia that we can’t come back!
All Nicky No-Boats has is an attempt at mass immigration to exploit cheap labour and pretend that is boosting our skills.
That means it’s going to get far worse economically and as Kiwis witness this mayhem in real time they will scream because they were conned and manipulated through their post-covid bitterness into electing this Hard Right Hateful Government.
That means the public will be howling for Luxon’s head.
Luxon will lose the next election of that there is little doubt, but if Erica Stanford was leader, the skeletons in her closet could damage the Political Right in a way they couldn’t recover from for 2 terms.
So please, replace Luxon with Erica.

Unless there actually are said skeletons in Erica’s closet Chris Bishop and Erica Stanford (either could be leader / deputy) would win the next election provided they avoid using meaningless politician / corporate speak and provide an actual plan of how to tackle cost of living crisis and an actual plan for improving NZ economy (i.e. not just shit like letting in American billionaires).

She pissed away half a billion on the ferries, and then munted the economy – if she were playing Civilization she’d be rated below Dan Quayle. Makes Muldoon look like an absolute genius, and frankly that sad panda Shane Jones is more charismatic.
