  1. Seymour is made out to be smart by some but he has no credibility on this. He’s said he supports the treaty settlement process but doesn’t support co governance over resources such as water. He’s about to join the muppets in a coalition. The National muppets, despite being architects of co governance, don’t support co governance at a central level either. So why the hell does there need to be a referendum on something that’s not happening.

Meanwhile Auckland pours raw sewage into the Waitemata and Wayne Brown blames the central government??? How is Auckland mismanaged storm water infrastructure the Government’s fault? There goes Nationals under funded tax cuts straight into your rates bill Auckland. Those great managers of the economy are so confident they are releasing their plan on a Friday afternoon! What a joke!

    1. Seymour has never had a proper job and suffers dreadfully from a combination of ‘arrested development disorder’ and ‘self- delusional disorder’ syndrome.

He’s a 2020’s version of the ’80’s wide- boys who were always quick to spot a gullible schmuck that they could exploit… who are now his paymasters!

      1. And nowhere in co governance does it suggest Māori own water. Has the Waikato River Settlements Act had a detrimental impact on anything?

  2. Just don’t order the police to fire on protestors – pretty unlikely anyway and also pretty unlikely the police would follow any order to so (I would hope).

  3. They probably did another cut and paste and just lowered the figures to suit them, they are so devious and lazy, and they have been allowed to get away with slogans and fearmongering. Nationals campaign is glossy fake marketing paid for by the 2% ters. They have also prayed on peoples anxiety about covid and the cost of living.

  4. The treaty has, in effect, been rewritten already by Sir Hugh Kawharu via his translation of the te reo Māori version of the Treaty. His version is quite radically different from the original. Supporters of co governance use it as justification for co governance. Understand the difference between “citizen” (which didn’t exist even in Britain until 1948) and “subject.”

  5. Martyn, you need to learn the difference between the Treaty of Waitangi, which David has no issue with, and the principles of the treaty, which were defined more recently by the well meaning judiciary.

    1. Thanks Bob the first/ John/Bob, ACT party member . Suggest you just need to learn, full stop.
