“I am truly shocked and saddened at the news of Efeso Collins’ sudden death,” Prime Minister Christopher Luxon says.
“Efeso was a good man, always friendly and kind, and a true champion and advocate for his Samoan and South Auckland communities.
“Our thoughts and deepest sympathies go to his family, his community and colleagues.”
Its authentic when your enemies share in the lose. That Efeso could have been given such a low placing on the party list or rejected by Labour for there own mayor candidate. Chippies gotta stand down.
Martyn – Very sad for his family and friends…Mr Collins tended to do his best for as many people as possible.
RIP Efeso. 49 is way too young. And he had so much still to give. Really sad.
I never had the pleasure of meeting him but feel the great loss for the country.
