Announce protest actions, general chit chat or give your opinion on issues we haven’t covered for the day.

The Editor doesn’t moderate this blog,  3 volunteers do, they are very lenient to provide you a free speech space but if it’s just deranged abuse or putting words in bloggers mouths to have a pointless argument, we don’t bother publishing.

All in all, TDB gives punters a very, very, very wide space to comment in but we won’t bother with out right lies or gleeful malice. We leave that to the Herald comment section.

EDITORS NOTE: – By the way, here’s a list of shit that will get your comment dumped. Sexist abuse, homophobic abuse, racist abuse, anti-muslim abuse, transphobic abuse, Chemtrails, 9/11 truthers, Qanon lunacy, climate deniers, anti-fluoride fanatics, anti-vaxxer lunatics, 5G conspiracy theories, the virus is a bioweapon, some weird bullshit about the UN taking over the world  and ANYONE that links to fucking infowar.

I’ve got a leaky place in my roof and my AA Contents Insurance can’t be renewed! I didn’t want that much but something. I have been with AA for decades for car and so on and didn’t think they would go like that. The risk is not great and I am disappointed. I’m thinking of alternatives. The overseas companies that have taken over so much – surely there must be others who aren’t sharky finance mongers?

We are wrecked by politicians and nitbrained businesspeople and gold rush merchants. It’s like pyramid selling. All these extra people and we are not managing the country well so we can best utilise them and their dollars etc.

We have idle people who have been done out of jobs by dropping tariffs at the border. and price competition from huge factory runs undercutting normal production runs suitable for this country. At one time we couldn’t buy shower curtain material on a basis of one importer supplying most of the country, too small an amount to be bothered with.

What a bunch of lies we have been fed throughout the years by accountants and so on who can add up and handle money but don’t know how to build and maintain a country. Pathetic. Someone says something confidently that relates to economics and marginal profits, sells the idea like a Christian tv evangelist. My favourite theme is the multiplier effect.

Further, about 2,000 new chemicals are introduced into commerce annually in the U.S., at a rate of about seven new chemicals a day. Many in the US assume that the government carefully reviewed the safety of every chemical before it is allowed on the market.
