• At 07:00, 24 November 2023, the ‘humanitarian truce’ (temporary ceasefire) entered into force in the Gaza Strip. The temporary ceasefire follows the deaths more than 14,854 people in Gaza including 6,150 children. More than 36,000 people have been wounded. The truce will last for 4 days, subject to extension, including the release of a number of female and child prisoners from Israeli occupation prisons and the entry of relief aid and fuel.
Israeli Army attack – 1 killed – 2 wounded – home invasion: Jenin – morning, Israeli forces, firing live ammunition and rubber-coated bullets, besieged and then invaded a home in Qabatiya,killing a doctor, Shamekh Kamal Abu Al-Rub, as well as wounding two other people.
Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded: Tulkarem – 17:15, the Israeli Army, shot and wounded one person, Majd Muhammad Abdel Hamid Salman, near the village of Ramin.
Israeli Army attack – armed robbery: Salfit – 20:05, Israeli troops opened fire on a motorist, near the entrance to Kifl Haris, and robbed him of his vehicle.
Israeli Army attack – 3 wounded – 3 taken prisoner : Bethlehem – 13:30, Israeli soldiers stormed into Tuqu’, wounding three people, Muhammad Odeh Allah Al-Amor, Ribhi Saber Al-Amor and Fayez Musa Al-Amor, as well as taking prisoner three others.
Israeli Army attacks: Northern Gaza – Occupation forces stormed into, and remain positioned inside, areas north and east of Beit Hanoun, north of Beit Lahiya as well as near Jabalia, the Jabalia refugee camp and the neighbourhoods of Sheikh Rad-wan, al-Nasr, al-Rimal and in Gaza City.
Israeli Army attacks: Gaza – Occupation forces remain positioned inside Juhor al-Dik and the neighbourhoods of Sheikh Ajlin, Tal al-Hawa, al-Zaytoun and al-Sabra, south of Gaza City, Salah al-Din Street and al-Rashid Street. They continue to isolate Gaza City.
Israeli Army attack – 2 killed – 15 wounded: Gaza – Occupation forces opened fire on people trying to return from the southern Gaza Strip to their homes in Gaza City, killing two of them and wounding 15 others.
Death: Gaza – photojournalist, Mustafa Bakir, has been announced dead as a result of an Israeli air strike at dawn on 24 November.
Deaths: Gaza – two people were killed as they were trying to return to their homes in Gaza City and the northern Gaza Strip.
Death: Khan Yunis – Hilal Asaad Saleh, a resident of Khan Yunis, has died of wounds sustained as a result of a raid on his home in Khan Yunis.
Death: Rafah – in the Geneina neighbourhood, ambulance crews and helpers found the body of Maysaa Ibrahim Khader, on the roof of a house adjacent to her own, more than 35 days after it was bombed by Israel.
Deaths: Central Gaza – the charred and decomposed bodies of seven people, recovered from the area near the southern Gaza Valley, have been delivered to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.
Home invasion: Ramallah – dawn, Israeli Occupation forces stormed into al-Bireh and invaded a home.
Home invasion: Jenin – 14:05, Israeli forces invaded Ya’bad and raided a house.
Home invasions – 1 wounded – 11 taken prisoner – refugee camp: Nablus – 04:30, the Israeli Army, firing rubber-coated bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters, raided Nablus and the Askar refugee camp, invading homes, wounding a resident and taking prisoner eleven people.
Home invasions – theft: Salfit – 18:15-01:50, Israeli troops raided a number of homes and shops and seized surveillance-camera recordings.
Home invasion: Ramallah – dawn, the Israeli military, firing rubber-coated bullets and stun grenades, invaded a home in al-Bireh.
Home invasion in refugee camp: Jericho – 02:30, Israeli soldiers raided the city and searched a home in the the Aqbat Jabir refugee camp.
Home invasion: Jericho – 09:20, Israeli Occupation forces invaded a home in al-Jiftlik, taking prisoner one person.
Israeli Army assault with rubber-coated bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters: Jerusalem – 16:00, near al-Eizariya, rubber-coated bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters fired.
Israeli Army assault with rubber-coated bullets – 2 children and 5 adults wounded: Ramallah – 15:30, Israeli Occupation forces fired rubber-coated bullets and stun grenades at people receiving liberated prisoners, near the entrance to the Ofer refugee camp, wounding two children and five adults. There were, in addition, 22 tear gas casualties.
Israeli Army assault with rubber-coated bullets, stun grenades: Qalqiliya – 12:10, Israeli forces fired rubber-coated bullets and stun grenades towards protesters, near the closed easternentrance to the village of Kafr Qaddum.
Israeli Army armed robbery: Jericho – evening, Israeli troops, at the Hamra checkpoint, robbed two Ein al-Bayda villagers, Yazan Raed Saud Faqha and Ghaleb Nidal Faqha, of their motor vehicles.
Israeli Army armed robbery: Hebron – 18:30, Israeli soldiers seized and removed a privately-owned excavator in the Umm Al-Shaqhan area, east of Yatta.
Occupation settler violence – 4 people hospitalised: Tulkarem – 15:00, armed Occupation settlers invaded Ramin village farmland, injuring and hospitalising four people: Fahmi Kamal Zidan, Youssef Adel Abdel-Ghani Salman, Muhammad Fahim Marawah Salman and Adel Abdel-Ghani Rashid Salman. The settlers also destroyed a motor vehicle during the raid.
Occupation settler violence and vandalism: Tulkarem – 22:15, armed Israeli settlers assaulted people, near Ramin village, and damaged a motor vehicle.
Occupation settler violence and vandalism: Qalqiliya – 10:40, armed Israeli Occupation settlers invaded Kafr Qaddum village farmland, and assaulted farmers while destroying two vehicles.
Occupation settler violence and agricultural sabotage: Qalqiliya – 10:40, Israeli settlers, equipped with bulldozers, invaded Far’ata and Immatin villages‘ agricultural land and uprooted 300 olive trees.
