Ceasefire violations – Palestinian missile attacks: Hundreds of missiles were again fired towards, and across, the Green Line into Israel.
Ceasefire violations – air strikes: From 08:00 on 15 October until 08:00 on 16 October, Israeli war planes continued to strike homes, including apartment tower-blocks, service facilities and manyother targets over the whole of the Gaza Strip enclave. A further 658 deaths have raised the number of fatalities to 2750 (including 724 children). Another 1346 people have been injured, now bringing that total to 9700.
