NW: How are we going to sneak removing the foreign buyer ban past voters?

CL: How about I pop up over a fence while Chippy is speaking?

NW: Chris, that happened to you last week.

CL: Oh yeah.

NW: Chris, this is really serious, this whole joke of an economic policy is built upon us opening the country to plunder for your Chinese speculator mates, voters won’t buy it unless we trick them.

  1. You see, Putin had himself photographed sitting at this really big table, and every one else sitting as far as possible away from him. And so I thought, I would have a photo of myself taken sitting at this really small table and us sitting really close together.
    What do you think?

  2. Wool-arse: “Ok Chrissy, time for remedial reading. Off you go.”

    Cluxon: “The……fat..cats…….stole..the………cash”.

Wool-arse: “Very good Chrissy. This is what we call our policy. Do you think you can sell it?”.

Cluxon: “Me wanna go wee-wee now.”

    • Do I detect some Terry Pratchett’s Lu Tze wisdom here – see Thief of Time? Are there any Lu Tze types writing here?
Lu-Tze is a senior History Monk, but its unclear what his actual position is at Oi Dong Monastery. He is clearly the most accomplished of the History Monks, but is also known as Sweeper. Because he is a…well, sweeper. (Prefers to work undercover so to speak.)

Although he is generally acknowledged to be 800 years old, there are some who claim he is 6000 years old, because for history MONKS time is a resource to manipulate rather than an amber in which they are imprisoned.
Lu-Tze is a little, bald, yellow-toothed man with a wispy beard and a fairly amiable grim as if he is constantly waiting for something amusing to happen.
In his life he has done just about everything, and his past deeds are legend among the History Monks. He is a master of every martial art ever conceived; indeed, he conceived most of them himself.
