As you are all aware by now, The Working Group is New Zealand’s bestest and greatestest Weekly Political Podcast THAT IS NOT FUNDED by NZ on Air.
Despite getting NO MONEY from NZ on Air, our little weekly political podcast keeps hitting number 1!
Now we are moving from the Mediaworks Studio to a specially built bunker podcast studio ADJACENT to Mediaworks Auckland HQ and we are now putting the show out live 7pm Tuesday nights.
We needed a specially built bunker podcast studio to contain the talent, insight and ego of the greatest political panel in NZ broadcasting history!
This week NZ Herald journalist Simon Wilson, National Party MP Gerry Brownlee and Stuff Columnist Damien Grant to debate the big political issues of the week.
Issue 1 – Military Boot camps and 10 year olds in ankle bracelets – why is National trying to out-ACT ACT?
Issue 2 – Religious Hate Speech – how is a blasphemy law appropriate in the 21st century?
Issue 3 – Lowering the voting age to 16 is a ray of light in an otherwise dark year

Thanks Bomber for an insightful podcast. I don’t support Brownlee in any shape or form but he is good entertainment and that is why the working group is thousands of years ahead when it come to intelligent lively debate.
