  1. The B.5 variant arrived people wanted us to learn to live with Covid but now we have 10 plus per day dying and log jammed hospitals and GPs clinics all part of living with the virus aye! And now we have more people coming in with the virus thanks to all the wankers that cried for our borders to open for business as usual.
And of course kids are gonna spread it cos their dopey parents haven’t bothered to get them vaccinated and so the spreading is rife. So much for those bringing in new variants isolating they obviously didn’t to the right thing or we wouldn’t be in the shite like we are now.

    • I think I will go and get drunk covid ispa. I hear that alcohol is a cleanser for wounds, and wounding memories.
I have just been reading a Georgette Heyer book about the Peninsula War and Spain. She wrote histiorical romances but also was good on the faction around dramatic periods in history. It was supposed to be pretty drastic. But wars continued. Then WW1 – drastic again. Then WW2 – worst yet with industrial destruction of assigned enemies and experimental nuclear bombs which continued after the war was over. And those wars were just a few of the ones that fill us with sorrow.

However I think we have been missing our wars bloody and awful, and are making up the space with these outbreaks of virus. The hope that we were over wars isn’t enough, it appears there has to be active work learning how to bring a fair peace, and maintain it with fair living conditions and bounded aspirations by all. Perhaps the spelling went astray and the task is to stay in one piece, all humanity together. We haven’t got it right so far – up the elbow.
