And the jobs, jobs, jobs…. once the free water consents are granted nothing is to stop these companies from mothballing the plants and putting Kiwi’s out of work!
“Cloud Ocean Estate’s website said its vision was for Canterbury water to become a global brand like Evian water from the French Alps, but the company last month mothballed its Christchurch plant with the loss of about 135 jobs and it is not sure when it will resume production. ”
(No doubt more lucrative to get foreign workers in to do the work, in the new ‘pay to work and get residency, bring the family in while you wait’ which is clearly more lucrative than actually trying to run a legitimate business in NZ).
Remember that new consent was granted to Cloud Ocean on the promise of about 60 jobs ‘once at full capacity (whatever that means) , so now going forward, having the firm in NZ has actually cost more jobs in other areas, than promised in the first place.

Hard to get excited about the atmospheric storm above the ocean. Don’t know why the Lefties are weighing in. Yep, Jacinda is hard to believe on our terms, but no one is going to believe a sexual scandal against her. Don’t like any of the commentators dealing with this surface scum. Given reality is our meat and drink.
