When will the Human Rights Commission shut down Shakespeare Pop-Up Globe?

One would have thought the Human Rights Commission  had bigger fish to fry, like, oh I don’t know, finding the funding so they can actually hold the Police to account, but apparently not…

Pak ‘n Save’s responsible drinking video ‘discriminatory and harmful’, Human Rights Commission says
A Pak ‘n Save ad featuring men dressed as women has been slammed by human rights advocates as “discriminatory” and “perpetuating transphobia”.

The ‘Always Graze When You Liaise’ video, released on March 11, depicts social media personality William Waiirua dressed up as women purchasing wine and food at a Pak ‘n Save supermarket.

The campaign is a joint initiative between Cheers NZ and Foodstuffs which aims to stop abusive alcohol consumption by motivating drinkers to eat food while drinking.

Rainbow Youth executive director Frances Arns said the video was “perpetuating transphobia by using the tired trope of having men dressed as women”.

…apparently this is a hate crime against humanity because finding any humour in  men dressed as woman is transphobic hatred.

Which raises an interesting question, when will the Human Rights Commission be smashing down the door of the Shakespeare Pop-Up Globe, because much of that humour is men dressed as women and women dressed as men.

The idea of the Human Rights Commission burning the entire Globe theatre to the ground to protect Transphobic rights is a political satire I want to watch.

  1. But eating while drinking buggers up the point of it??
So Pak N Starve are talking shit.
And they’ll sell more booze as a result of pretending they give a fuck.
There’s an interesting book about Industrial Psychopathy written by a woman who was interviewed by Kim Hill some time ago. ( Sorry, can’t remember the details etc. )
She made mention of the effectiveness of negative advertising to promote the sale of, in that instance, tobacco. She said the more fuss made about the dangers of smoking caused a spike in tobacco sales. Kim Hill suggested then that it was best to just shut up about it to which the author, based on her findings, agreed
Thus, based on the book, Scrimp N Starve have effectively used the pretence of caring about safer drinking to sell more booze.

It’s my view, The Human Rights Commission should be more worried about how vulnerable the human mind is to being tinkered with.

The Human Rights Commission has nothing to do with the rights of humans and is instead an abrasive to buff the edges of the vulgar greed of Crafty Capitalism.
In an attempt at fairness though, they have had their teeth pulled out by morally bankrupt politicians.
