Fuck em!

What a wonderful day this is turning out to be.

Sucks to be National.

“Loser Yourself”
Look, if you had one shot, or one opportunity
To seize all the political power you ever wanted. One moment
Would you capture it or just let it slip?
Yo
The farms are petty, foreign ownership steady,
There’s votes to be had, Cameron Slater’s ready
I’m nervous, but on the surface polls look calm and pretty, Max and me selfie
But I keeps on forgetting what GCSB wrote down,
The whole Press Gallery goes so loud
I opens my mouth, but Hager’s words come out
I’m choking how, everybody’s poking luck
The elections run out, time’s up, over, fuck!
Snap back to Press Gallery, Oh there goes Paddy
Oh, there goes Judith, she choked
I’m so mad, but I won’t give up that
Easy, no
I won’t have it, I know what’ll get me off the ropes
I know most NZers are stupid dopes
they didn’t blink over drone predator
they’ll let me kill the messenger
When Glenwald goes back to his mobile home, that’s when it’s
Back to the jib jab again, yo
This whole mass surveillance rap sheet
I’m gonna go capture this moment and hope it don’t pass me
[Hook:]
You’re a loser yourself in the spying, the moment
of truth, you better let it go
You only got one shot, you missed your chance to blow
This opportunity comes once in a lifetime yo
You’re a loser yourself in the spying, the moment
of truth, I’m the PM with all my comments
but you only get one shot, do not miss your chance to blow
This opportunity comes once in a lifetime yo
(You better)

  1. A quick whip-around of the Nat millionaire’s couch change should see them right.

But who would ever have thought that the National Party was plagiarizing someone else’s ideas (apart from Labour, Greens etc)? Well, I never!!!

  2. Not a big ‘rap’ fan but love this result ……….. National fucked up again..
Ha …………… makes you feel there is some justice in the world …. (national getting just deserves again) All we need now is the truth to come out about Key and his dirty deeds ……….

  3. The poor things think it’s all one great big conspiracy and that the National Party campaign organisers (Steven Joyce) had nothing to do with it. Desperate death throws I guess.

  4. Can you blame Eminem for taking the creeps to court. I would be bloody insulted too if I had a piece of my music taken and used and abused like the opposition did to his rap piece. Poetic justice and its grand news. Humpty Joyce is just a useless numpty and it couldn’t have happened to a more apt person.

    • See that Key is Chair of ANZ Bank now. Here in Australia, they are being fined $50 000000 for colluding with Westpac and NAB Bank and costing customers huge money.

ANZ is not admitting guilt, though they will pay the fines. Trying to avoid a class action by their customers …. wonder who advised them???

They have cheated and lied and all their fat little pigeons are coming home to roost. LOL LOL

      • I’m going down to buy a Lotto tonight, as everything I’ve ever wanted has come to fruition over the past week, all of which is the result of Nationals bad rap. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

    • Exactly WK. Joyce’s delusional responses requires a damn good dildo-ing as he is such a cock! Stealing others ideas and spreading bullshit, thank you Winston for keeping this egg out.

    • yes isering kate,

Can’t humpty have a big fall?? Oh well he has now had two one biig $11.7B hole and now a big $1M bill for copyrigt???

Ha ha ha I was told today that Kim.com was rejoying at this fall from grace of the king slob of the dying national party.

  5. As a supporter of the left I am delighted.

As a professional musician I’m appalled. Appalled at how such an unoriginal and infantile musical device can merit copyright. If I recall correctly a guitar chugging parallel 5ths at an andante tempo in straight quavers? Using a harmonic progression known for centuries and used in thousands of other works? Please.

      • I’m also gratified that others with an educated understanding of music have come to similar conclusions to me

        Mike Chunn:

        http://www.radionz.co.nz/news/national/342383/music-rights-specialist-backs-national-over-eminem-esque

Observing similar actions in the courts over the past two decades have led me to believe that juries and courts, usually woefully ignorant of both the history of musical development, compositional practises, harmonic and music analysis, are way out of their depth in determining these issues.

        • The same could be said of IT patents, many of which are just absurd.

I’m not sure that one should be celebrating copyright and patent trolling. It’s a very dishonorable way to make a living and we are best keeping it out of NZ.

The TPPA wouldn’t help in this regard

          • I’m all for patent protection and interlectual property rights but I to see the courts applying reasonable standards to that protection. The concept that a company can tell you what to do with the product you buy is insane and I’m glad the court is making that official. I’m hoping that this gets applied to the digital market so companies can no longer imply that they can take the product away from the consumer at any time they wish. If you purchase something you own it. If you sell something you no longer own it. This is a basic principal in commerce and one that companies have been screwing with for far to long.

  6. Well, I heard on RNZ that, that amount would have been what they’d ( Natzo’s) would have had pay to use the track ligit’. Instead, Natzo used it as a political message, a political message that Eminem might not have necessarily agreed to. In short, they used the track and fuck Eminem ’cause used it. Too late to whine now. The fine should’ve been $60 mil. Jonky’s collection of human hair fetish wigs would be worth more than $600K I bet. The Natzo fuckers got off lite. Broke even actually, and I bet. I bet you anything you like, they can spin a tax rebate out of it. You know what that means right? Yes. You and I will foot the bill.

      • Yes but the Nats obtained the audio in good faith through an agency. I do take them on their word on this, and I presume that they will try to pass on costs to the agencies concerned via follow up legal action, as they have indicated.

Anyway, it opens the door to all sorts of spurious follow up legal action against advertisers in NZ.

        • Did you take Bill on his word that he knew nothing of the Todd Barclay affair? Sorry but bullshit just breeds bullshit,Joyce’s arrogance over the “pretty legal” comment reads like they new exactly what they were doing.

        • Andy, what’s that old saying? Oh yeah, “ignorance of the law is no excuse.”

You wouldn’t accept that excuse from a welfare beneficiary would you? Of course not, you’d be putting the boot in.

          • And Sally, remember National, as lapdogs to the USA, have spent years fighting Kim Dot Com on, you guessed it… Copyright infringement!

    • Indeed. I’m wondering how the Penguin Community’s scoutmaster is going to spin it on the next Jim Mora panel.
Yeo flap flap Yeo flap flap Yeo flap flap

    • The NZ judges now concede Dotcom did NOT violate copywrite… so to save face US and NZ are trying to use illegally gathered “evidence” and harassing others to “provide evidence” and reducing his ability to pay for legal advice, actually trying to get him tried in another country (because you have to get the RIGHT result) to try to keep face. Sounds like a LOT of work.

Oh yep, that’s because the NZ government under the Natz signed a deal the NZ tax payers would pay damages if all this is in vain and they can’t convict him of anything, (not damages from the US or the Disney/Warners and other people who wanted the action, but were reluctant to pay for it, knowing that they might not get the result they wanted aka advice from Sony lawyers who said he’s not guilty).

So the short of it, is NZ taxpayers are paying the legal fees of Corporate Hollywood and any damages from that illegal action if they are wrong. So they really don’t want to be wrong even if they have to change/bend the law to do so and in the face of that make NZ look even worse in international law and human rights.

Thanks John Key. (sarcasm) No wonder you have so many ‘buddies’ around the world when the NZ taxpayer is your purse and we also have 0% tax havens to encourage money laundering while pursuing others on behalf of corporates who don’t feel ‘comfortable’ paying their own bills and being responsible for their actions.

  7. Sweet poetic justice at last. Shakespeare called it the Wheel of Fortune. It turns, and arrogance, pride cometh before a fall.

  8. Oh the sweet delicious aromas of Karma and irony. The Nats found guilty of thieving someone else’s’ intellectual property. It doesn’t get better than this.

Kim Dotcom must be quaking with laughter!!

  9. God willing more illegal activity will come to the surface.

There is more that one skeleton in the National government closet.

    Can’t wait.

  10. Givealittle page coming up to help poor friendless Natz pay for their “pretty legal” copyright breach?

Things not turning out quite the way they should have done for Natz this year.

Go lose yourself Natz … oh hang on, they already have. Ha ha I’m loving it.

  11. ” Eminem Esque” If National are not breaking the law, then they are certainly guilty of stupidity. It has to be one of them.

  12. The full irony of this conviction is that copyright infringement is the crime that Kim Dotcom is charged with. (But not convicted of, unlike the Nats.)

Maybe the new government should be sending armed and masked police in helicopters to bust down the doors at Bill English’s place.
