Little wasn’t railroaded at all. He spoke the facts of the issues, correcting Hosking many times and it was Hosking, in his usual style, misrepresenting Little’s answers at his end summary to which Little had no right of reply.
I know Hosking doesn’t claim to be a journalist and that’s clear – I just wish for once, he’d be honest about it and say outright that he’s simply a National Government propagandist.
Hosking’s trick of mischaracterising someone’s argument or the nature of a situation after the interview ends is the height of spinelessness.

Yeah he did the exact same thing with the TPPA on Seven Sharp after Jane Kelsey took him to task. At the end of the program Hosking had a pro-TPPA rant, completely uncontested of course.
Yeah I remember that, particularly galling, though at least in that instance he’d been so obviously spanked that it was glaringly obvious how butthurt he was.
He wouldn’t be the first. I remember a few years ago taking Larry Williams to task on the same station for doing exactly the same thing with Helen Clark – making a prolonged and sneering rejoinder only after the interview was over.

If he’s going to raise immigration do it in the context of house prices, or the impact on interest rates and the exchange rate hurting the tradables sector. Not chefs. Ex-Reserve Bank’s Mike Reddell:

Hosking is a complete tool. I’m looking forward to some serious schadenfreude when the inevitable bitter divorce occurs between him and his vacuous blonde spouse.
Hosking’s is just another hollow log that Nasty natz have engineered ro run our MSDM.
Their time will end when the message gets overused as usual so spin on Jonkeys and your used by date will come quicker.
The problem with Mike is, that suffers from an acute over inflated ego. Likely resulting from the blood rush due to his penchant for wearing balls crusher jeans.
Listening to Hoskings I feel my decision not to waste my time with the NZ MSM is full vindicated.
