Shane Jones pimping for compulsory military conscription to combat youth unemployment his government has created is like arresting the homeless they made
On Duncan Garner last week, Shane Jones flirted with compulsory military conscription asa. response to all the nephews on the couches.
Māori unemployment is 11%, Māori Youth unemployment is 19%, these numbers have occurred BECAUSE of the Governments economic vandalism.
Shane using those stats to begin a conversation about compulsory military conscription is farcical. How about creating more jobs rather than sending our kids into the war mincer!
It’s like this Government’s response to homelessness.
The Government create the homeless and then their solution is to arrest those homeless.
This Government created the youth unemployment and then their solution is to put all those unemployed youth into compulsory military conscription.
Why do you allow this Government to manufacture issues and then use crushing State force to ‘solve’ those problems they manufactured?
Part of me is giddy with excitement that political mutations this extreme might actually win a second term because I’m a big believer in people lying in the beds they’ve made and then mocking them when it explodes in their face.
Why would you trust Shane Jones to NOT force our kids into the war mincer?
He’s going to implement the Fisheries Amendment Act, more mining, more exploitation and selling off of Conservation Land if he gets a second shot.
Why wouldn’t he also force our kids into compulsory military conscription.

The military does not have the capability to run what they have and can only stand up 45% of its assets at any time .So how are they going to cope with 100000 unemployed youth .
